KTM to move out Husqvarna motorbikes from Bajaj's place in 2 years

New Delhi: Austrian activities motorbike manufacturer KTM Sportmotorcycles AG programs to produce and release Husqvarna motorbikes in Native indian in the next two decades.

The company will use its associate Bajaj Auto's Chakan place to move out the bicycle. It also is getting ready to release a activities design under KTM RC sequence that will hit the industry by the end of next season.

"Our present concentrate is the KTM motorbikes, but in the next two decades you will see the Husqvarna motorbikes arriving from the Chakan place," KTM Sportmotorcycles AG CEO Stefan Pierer informed journalists here.

Earlier this season in Jan, Pierer, who operates a greater part share in KTM, had obtained Husqvarna from Germany's BMW.

On programs to release more KTM motorbikes in Native indian, Bajaj Automatic Ltd (BAL) md Rajiv Bajaj said: "KTM has designed a full-fledged activities design under the product RC. We will release it by the end of next season."

The RC sequence will have more than one motor potential and it will be created at BAL's Chakan place, Mr Bajaj included.

Pierer also said by 2015, KTM may also carry its Fight it out 690 design to Native indian.

In 2007, BAL had obtained 14.5 % share in KTM and progressively improved it to 48 %. The two organizations had signed up with arms to create items and use the Native indian company's place for production.

Under the KTM variety, the associates offer Fight it out 200 and Fight it out 390 in Native indian, while Fight it out 125 created in Native indian is released to European countries.

When requested if BAL would go for a greater part share in KTM, Mr Bajaj said: "We don't see any need for improving that...Our purpose is to be a associate and not to take over KTM."
